The Steiner ST588 Heavy Duty Truck Tyre Changer (ST588S) is engineered for commercial vehicle workshops, providing a powerful hydraulic solution for servicing large truck wheels in-house. It handles rim diameters from 14”–26”, accommodating wheel diameters up to 1600mm and widths up to 1000mm.

Powered by a 1.8kW motor on a single-phase 15-amp supply, the Steiner ST588 tyre changer delivers a 2,700kg bead breaker force at 130–150 bar working pressure and features full CE compliance for safe operation.

Delivery

Tyre Changers
We use Mainstream as our freight carrier. From dispatch you can typically expect your Tyre Changer within the following timeframes:
Auckland: 1-2 days
Rest of North Island: 2-3 Days
South Island:4-5 days

Our Carriers deliver the equipment on a standard curtain-sider truck. If you don’t have a forklift or don’t have access to one, please speak with our team as we will have to arrange a Hi-ab Truck. This may incur an extra charge.
